Trade Show Planning:
Review Your Original Objectives

POST SHOW. WITHIN 5-7 DAYS AFTER SHOW.

Remember those trade show objectives you wrote down 12 months ago when determining if you should exhibit at a show and which show it should be?

Did you achieve those objectives?

If yes, that’s great. Maybe you can build on those objectives for next year’s show.

If not, why not?

  • What could have been done differently?

  • What was the return on your investment?

  • Did you achieve your lead generation goal?

  • How many of those leads become customers?

  • Did you launch a new product at the show?

  • How many products were sold at the show or have been sold since the show ended?

These are just a few examples of objectives you may have had. How did you do?

Read Chapter 28 of Trade Show 411 to get a deeper understanding into how assessing your original objectives is key to determining if you had a successful return on your investment.
