Trade Show Planning:
Investigate Show-Sponsored Marketing Opportunities

6-3 MONTHS TO GO. PRE-SHOW ACTIVITIES.

The trade show or conference’s sales management team wants your exhibitor experience to be successful, so you agree to exhibit again next year. As a result, they provide opportunities for you to market your company and products to all show attendees by enabling you to participate in show-managed marketing programs.

Review the exhibitor information you received when you signed the trade show contract.

  • Do they enable you to place an ad in the show guide?

  • Can your company sponsor the keynote presentation or an after-hours networking event?

  • Will they allow you to add your logo to the lanyards used to hold attendee badges or to the aisle signs in the expo hall?

  • Can you add a giveaway item in the bags handed to each attendee when they check in to receive their badge?

While all these opportunities cost money, they also enable you to maximize your company's exposure to a much wider audience than just those attendees walking by your booth.
