Trade Show Planner: Supplier Selection

Your 12 month trade show checklist

Choosing your suppliers is just one task in a large checklist you’ll need to complete as a trade show exhibitor. Review my entire pre-show, on-site, and post-show checklist of exhibitor planning activities.

Trade Show Planning:
Choose All Your Suppliers

12 MONTHS TO GO. PRE-SHOW ACTIVITIES.

Create a list of all the suppliers you will need to work with to purchase or rent products and services for this trade show. This list should include:

  • An exhibit house to design and build the booth structure.

  • The show contractor for booth installation.

  • A graphic designer and printing company for signs and posters.

  • A promotional products company for giveaways.

  • A tech company for audiovisual equipment rental.

  • A shipping company to move your booth and materials to and from the show.

This is just the beginning of a long list of suppliers with whom you may work. Now is the time to seek out these companies. You will need time to evaluate the quality of their work, the cost, and whether they can meet your needs by your deadline.
