Trade Show Planning:
Determine If You Will Exhibit Next Year

POST SHOW. WITHIN 5-7 DAYS AFTER SHOW.

That was some journey! It took a year of planning, but you got through it.

There are a lot of details and a lot of moving parts. Some of them are the same from show to show. Some change with each show.

To be a successful exhibitor, the amount of work doesn’t lessen with each show, but you do become more experienced with what needs to be done, and how to shift gears in mid-stream if a plan goes awry.

Your post-show debrief, cost vs budget analysis, and review of your original objectives against the show’s outcome will help you determine if you should exhibit next year.

If the answer is yes, start planning right away. Securing a prime booth space and acceptance as a conference speaker requires that you start early.

Now that your first trade show was a success, it’s time to plan the next one.

You can use your experience, post-show learnings, and checklist of milestones and deadlines to be even more successful in achieving your exhibitor goals next year.
