Trade Show Planning:
Prepare for Post-Show Dismantle
ON-SITE. AT SHOW.
Dismantling your booth at the end of the show is not a throw-away activity. It is almost as important as booth installation.
If you have reserved show labor to disassemble your booth, do you know what time they will be coming?
Have you told your booth staff that they are required to stay after the show closes to help you pack up all the booth materials?
Setting the expectation early that your team is required to help you pack up the booth is essential.
As soon as the show ends, your booth staff will scatter, and you will be left to pack up your space on your own. This can take three or four hours even for a 10’x10’ booth.
Before your team ever makes their airline reservations, let them know your expectations so they have enough time to help before they have to rush off to the airport. You know the old saying, “Many hands make lite work.”
