Wyoming Small Business Administration - SBA

The Wyoming SBA is supported by its district office in Casper. They provide services including funding programs, counseling, federal contracting, certifications, and disaster recovery. They can also connect you to partner organizations, lenders, and other community groups that help small businesses succeed.

The Casper office serves the entire state of Wyoming.

Examples of educational programs and events include Women-Owned and Veteran-Owned Small Business Certification, Small Business Skill-Building Workshop, Mentor Pretege Program, and Joint Venture Workshop.

  • Disaster assistance: Get help after a disaster with low-interest disaster loans.

  • Surety bonds: Protect your work and your client with an SBA-guaranteed surety bond.

As the state economic development agency, the Wyoming Business Council leads economic growth in order to build resilient communities and create opportunities for people to thrive.

Ellbogen $50K Entrepreneurship Competition at the University of Wyoming (UW) is designed to encourage college students across the State of Wyoming to act on their talents, ideas, and energy to produce tomorrow's leading businesses. The $50K Competition awards cash prizes to outstanding teams of student entrepreneurs who submit their business plans for new ventures showing significant business potential. The Wyoming Business Report is Wyoming's first and only state-wide business newspaper, founded in 2000. They deliver breaking news, in-depth analysis, research, economic statistics, and coverage of key industries.

Headquartered in Cheyenne, the paper is distributed throughout southeast Wyoming, and into western Nebraska, with the majority of its circulation within Laramie County.
