Trade Show Marketing:
Trade Show Marketing Strategy, Pre-Show
3 MONTHS TO GO. PRE-SHOW ACTIVITIES.
When you first decided to be a trade show exhibitor, you should have planned and developed the trade show marketing strategy you will implement to promote your presence at the show.
Now, with only 3 months to go, it’s time to execute that trade show marketing plan.
Remember to market to the trade show or conference pre-registered list.
Troll your database of prospects and leads to see if you have a list of contacts located within a 75 to 100-mile radius of the show.
When trolling your database, don’t forget to invite your current customers. How often do you see them in person? Invite prospects, leads, and customers to visit your booth at the show or have a cocktail with you at a networking reception. Invite some of your most profitable customers to an intimate dinner with members of your leadership team.
Execute your trade show marketing strategy across all appropriate channels to communicate the fact that you will be exhibiting. This may include email campaigns, a website events page, advertising in the right online and print publications, announcing your participation on your social media channels, and personal phone calls from your account executives.
While these are examples of some of the ways you may want to communicate your participation, you know better than anyone how your potential customers stay in contact with you. Use those communication channels to inform them of your participation and invite them to meet you there.
