2 MONTHS TO GO. PRE-SHOW ACTIVITIES.
There are multiple components to consider when you evaluate your shipping needs.
What shipping method will you use? A carrier like FedEx or UPS, an independent van line, or the trucking company recommended by show management?
Shipping your booth structure and any other items to the show’s advance warehouse is the most cost-effective.
The advance warehouse is an off-site facility away from the convention center where all your booth material can be securely stored for up to one month before the show begins.
Not only will you save money by shipping to the advance warehouse, but you will also be guaranteed that your materials will be placed in your booth space before installation is scheduled to begin.
Will your booth structure, graphics, and other components be ready in time to get it to the advance warehouse?
What are your requirements for the post-show shipment? Will your entire booth be shipped back to your office, to your exhibit house, or will half of the shipment be sent back to the exhibit house and the other half sent on to another show in a different city?
