Finalize Booth Flooring
3 MONTHS TO GO. PRE-SHOW ACTIVITIES.
(As you review the 12 month master planner, you will notice that the purchase of some of the booth materials have been separated into this section, 3 months prior, and the next section, 2 months prior. The items included here have an impact on your booth layout as well as its look and feel. Things like flooring options and booth accessories must be decided upon earlier to ensure the booth has a cohesive look and you do not have too many or too few items in the booth.)
If your booth's rental or purchase contract does not include carpet or another flooring, you will need to order it separately.
You can order it from the show decorator or an independent provider. If ordering it from the show decorator, save money by completing and submitting their form before their discount price deadline. You can find the form and deadline date in the Exhibitor Services Manual or Exhibitor Guide. Their price includes delivery, material handling, installation, and removal.
If ordering it from an independent provider, remember that you will save money by shipping the flooring to the advance warehouse. You will pay more for shipping directly to the show hall as well as additional fees for drayage, installation, and removal.
