Select Giveaway Items

3 MONTHS TO GO. PRE-SHOW ACTIVITIES.

Whether you call them tchotchkes, swag, or promotional giveaways, it’s time to order things like pens, water bottles, notebooks, or other items that you will give away in your booth. Ordering them now will ensure that they are in stock, you will have time for customization, and you will not have to pay rush charges to have them sent directly from the manufacturer to the show.

Consider purchasing items that will actually be used by the attendees rather than a toy that will be thrown in a drawer and forgotten. Most importantly, consider who the show attendees are and what they will use.

If the attendees are engineers or other tech professionals, for example, you may want to consider a USB flash drive, remote mouse, or a battery-powered USB charger.

Also, consider ordering two different types of items from a promotional products company like 4Imprint or a similar provider:

  1. The first is inexpensive item which you can give to any attendee who passes by your booth. This should be something inexpensive that is available on your booth tables and countertops for passersby to take.

  2. A more expensive item can be hidden under a table or in a locked cabinet and given only to those attendees your team has spoken with and are deemed to be a qualified lead.

Depending on the size of the show and your budget, you may purchase 500 of the small, inexpensive items and 50, or even less, of the more expensive item.
