What is a General Service Contractor?
A general service contractor is the company selected by show management to provide labor, products, and services to the show management team and all exhibitors. Two well-known general contracting companies are Freeman and GES, among many others. A general service contractor is different from an Exhibitor Appointed Contractor who is specifically hired by an individual exhibitor. It can also be referred to as the Exclusive Contractor, Show Contractor, or Official Contractor.
