Corner Booth

A corner booth is a trade show booth space located at the end of a row of inline or linear booths. It has two sides of the four sided booth open to aisles. A corner booth’s size is typically 10 x 10 ft. or 10 x 20 ft.

What’s the benefit of a corner booth?

As its name implies, a corner booth enables your company to be located at the corner of two intersecting aisles. This means that your company can be seen by show attendees from a much further distance away.

This sample exhibition floor plan is from my book, Trade Show 411. It shows how a corner booth and the variety of other trade show booths could be laid out in a standard exhibition.

What are the other types of trade show booths?

An inline booth, also known as a linear booth, is located within a long line of booths all placed in a row. It also shares the back of its booth with another company exhibiting directly behind. A trade show booth will also be located on either side of your trade show space if you select an inline booth.

A perimeter booth is an inline booth but since it’s placed up against the expo hall’s perimeter wall, there is no exhibitor behind.

An end cap booth is positioned at the end of two rows of inline booths and spans the space between two parallel aisles.

A peninsula booth is similar to an end cap booth but is larger. An end cap booth can be 10 x 20 ft. but a peninsula booth can be 20 x 20 ft. or larger.

An island booth is a stand alone booth. All four sides are open to intersecting aisles and it is usually 20 x 20 ft. or larger.

Which trade show booth is least expensive? Which trade show booth is most expensive?

The least expensive trade show booth is a linear or inline booth. It’s the most common of all booth types and is sold in 10 x 10 ft. increments. The most common sizes are 10 x 10 ft. and 10 x 20 ft.

The most expensive trade show booth type is an island booth. Although you could purchase a peninsula booth with the same physical size as an island booth space, there is one big benefit to an island booth. There are no other trade show booths abutting the island booth. That means the island booth has all of its sides open to aisles, making it extremely valuable to an exhibitor who wants to be seen by attendees walking towards it from any direction.
