What is a peninsula booth?
A peninsula booth is a trade show booth space that is open to aisles on three sides. The fourth side is adjacent to another booth.
What is the layout of a peninsula exhibit?
A peninsula booth can have two layout options.
A peninsula booth can share its back wall with two linear or inline booths. Its position at the end of two rows of linear booths makes it look like a peninsula - extending out at the end of the aisle.
A peninsula booth can share its back wall with another peninsula booth. This is known as a split island booth.
Peninsula booth vs. island booth
While a peninsula booth is open on three sides with the fourth side set against another booth or booths, an island booth has all four sides open to expo hall aisles. Since the goal of an exhibitor is to attract trade show attendees coming toward the booth from any direction, an island booth is most effective. However, it is also the most expensive booth layout.
A peninsula booth can give you the physical size of an island booth at a reduced cost. But you will be limited to three accessible sides.
